This is Joey Speed's 1970 Chevy Nova 396 SS, BBC with Eagle 4340 crank, H-beam rods, and SRP pistons, 5 speed manual transmission, 12 bolt Chevy rear end.  Joey street drives his Nova all the time, this is a street sleeper!  If your in the Spring Hill, FL area check out JOEY's SPEED shop, tell him Frank sent you!

Dave Pitt purchased this 68 Cougar from the original family owner.  A friend referred me to Frank at Super Engine,  Frank spec'd out a 347 stroker kit for me.  He also helped with the selection of what cylinder heads and cam to use.  I ended up using a 1993 Mustang roller block to build the 347.  The engine has a Crane hydraulic roller cam, Canfield cylinder heads, Hooker headers, Edelbrock F-28 dual four barrel intake manifold, two 500 cfm Edelbrock AFB carburetors, Crane ignition and Crane roller rockers.  I used a reproduction Shelby aluminum "T" oil pan and changed the belt system to a March serpentine belt setup.

The car runs VERY strong and has much low end power.  The transmission is a C-4 with a 2800 rpm stall convertor followed by an 8 inch Ford rear with 3.55 Traction Lock differential.  I am in the process of changing to a 9 inch Ford differential.  I don't think the 8 inch rear is going to last with the torque this engine puts out.  It doesn't "spin" the tires it "boils" them.  The car is a blast to drive, it is a street car, and I have to be careful so I'll keep my drivers license. Lastly I have to get the A/C working.  It is HOT here in Florida.

I have several friends that also have used Frank and everyone has nothing but praise for him.  He is easy to talk to and doesn't try to sell you something you don't need or that won't work with your set up.   Thanks for all your help Frank.  Dave Pitt

The truck only varied two thousandths on the 60ft and one thousandth on e.t.. I literally put my dial on the window and didn't touch it!  The truck has gone 10.61 @ 127.56 MPH,  the converter is too tight and I only went through the traps at 6500 rpm with a cam for 7500 rpm, the MPH shows there more potential!   Well, can't really say enough but if I ever need anything done in the future, your the man from here out. Thanks again for the wonderful engine!

Frank,
I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to help me pick out all the right parts to make my new bracket motor a winner! The first time out with it I won, the motor is very consistent.

I talked with the carb manufactures and they told me not to go bigger than an 850 cfm. Frank told me that it would want a 1050 cfm. I live in Ohio where we built and dyno the engine and we tried an 850 and a 1050 and it loved the 1050.

Frank and his brothers not only build motors and sell parts, they use the stuff they sell. They can tell you what works and what doesn't! I bought the heads complete from GoFastStuff and Frank did all the work on them.

I feel that the heads made the difference and help make the right combination. I bought most of the parts for my build up from Frank, complete kit, crank, rods, pistons, rings, bearings, and had Frank balance it too. My car weighs 3050 lbs. with driver and has ran a best time of 10.468 @ 128.04

The Engine is a 1979 350 - 010 4 Bolt block with a balanced Eagle 4340 Crank 3.75 stoke with Eagle 6" H-beam Rods, ATI 6 3/8" Bal, Ross Forged Pistons (13:1), Top Proline 235 Alum. Heads 64cc gasket matched to 1206 and the pockets cleaned up - Retainers are Titanium standard height, 10 degree locks, standard height Comp Cams locks and the springs are 917 Comp Cam, 1.6 Roller Rockers, Stud Girdle, Cloyes Hex-A-Just Timing Chain and Two Piece Alum. Cover, Dart Intake gasket matched to 1206 with a Holley 1050 HP Dominator, Headman 1 7/8" Headers with 3 1/2" Collectors, MSD 6AL Box and Dist, Lunati Roller Lifters, Isky Roller Cam Grind rr-640/68-72 - installed at 2.5 degrees advanced RPM Range: 4500 - 7500. On the dyno it made 573 hp @ 6500 rpm and 502 fpt @ 5200 rpm.

Hi Frank,
Just wanted to tell you about how happy my Fiance Ron Retcher and I are with the products we bought from your company! Very good high quality parts and our new Stroker motor is WONDERFUL!!!

Ron put it together with such precision and care. It is great! Runs sooooo smooth and really kicks @ss when you get into it. We only passed the 500 mile break in mileage point, have close to 700 miles on it now. Ron is so happy with it. He is very talented to be able to have built it and have it turn out so perfect! He's been taking apart and putting Chevy motors together for the past 35 years and has had some radical ones, as well he also built some pretty mean Harley motors! I'm proud of him. He takes pride in how he does motors and with what he accomplished with his new stroker motor, it was his first stroker to build. We both pass on the name of you and your company to everyone at all the car shows and events we attend. Good stuff! From Go Fast Stuff!!!
Take care and Be safe!
Sincerely,
Judy Murphy and Ron Retcher Ayersville, Ohio

Jay Biondo is the owner of this awesome 1967 Chevy II Nova, car weighs in at 3500lbs with driver, SBC, 4340 Eagle Crank, 6" Eagle Rods, 11.5:1, SRP pistons, 825 Race Demon Carburetor,  Turbo 400 Transmission, Ford 9 inch rear end with 3.89 gears.  Car runs 10:80 @ 124mph on motor - with NOS car runs 9:50 @ 145mph!!!  This car is street driven and with thanks to GO FAST STUFF I was able to build a solid motor for the fraction of the cost.

This is Conrad Yust's 1982 Monte Carlo, it has a 406 a TH350 w a 2800 stall and 3.73 gears. Ceramic coated headers and 2.5 inch exhaust through Pro-Flow mufflers. I just finished putting a new interior. Next project is a 496 motor for the Monte Carlo, the parts have already been purchased from Gofaststuff.  One of my other rides is  a '79 TA that's all original from San Mateo, Ca., and has never seen snow OR salt. It has the 403 Olds motor, TH400, and 3.55 gears and is one of the nicest cars I have ever driven. These two, and my wife's '76 Stingray have been tucked away for the winter for over a month already.

This is Mike's 1967 Camaro convertible, 383 Eagle stroker backed by a T-56 six speed trans and a 8.5" 10 bolt with 3.73:1 gears. Horsepower is 375@ the rear wheels and torque is 410ft/lb @ the wheels. I bought a complete balanced (stroker) Eagle rotating assembly from Frank, sent him my flywheel and he balanced it with the stroker kit.  I have to say Frank was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions.  I had a problem with clearancing between the cam and the rods and with Frank's help, determined the cam was degreed improperly.  I have heard in the past that the quality of Eagle stuff wasn't the greatest, well, I had absolutely no problems with the clearances or anything. Everything went together great!  Even if there was a problem I am confident Frank would have helped. Thanks for the great service and products. Mike Catanio emtcee3@comcast.net

Frank,  Just wanted to thank you for your help a month or two ago.  I bought a 383 eagle kit from your with Ross 12:1 pistons.  Got the engine together.  The car is a 78 nova weighing around 3300 lbs.  In only the second week out, with limited tuning so far the car ran a 6.84 in the 1/8 at 97+ mph.  It had a 1.47 60 time.  I am very pleased with the performance.  Thanks for the great product at a wonderful price.

Frank built my 388 motor this year, I have this in a 1991 Camaro that weighs 3500lb! The car ran 10.90 on motor one 850 carb. Many people were very impressed! Most thought I was spraying the car to run these times, until I installed a 300 hp kit and ran 9.90's. My car is in full street trim, not gutted or lightened and I am only running a set of 10" slicks. Billy harlie7@hotmail.com

He is a straight shooter - no tricks. Fast shipping, fast email responses, best prices I've found anywhere. I've bought cranks and rods from him on more than one occasion and recommend him to all my friends. Gary bbc427rat@home.com

I purchased an Eagle 3.500 sroke ultra lite 4340 crank from Frank, and it was the best buy I made all year, frank took the time to give me all the options and let me decide. And it was delivered right when he said it would be. Even Boyd racing engines when they balanced the crank said it was the best one they did all year!!!! I shopped around for this crank and talked to a bunch of sellers that just wanted your money, till I talked to frank, great customer service, knows his business, takes the time to make sure you get value in the items that you purchase from him. All you have to do is email him and see. every one thats seen crank cant believe the price that I paid for it. just my 2 cents but you wont find a better person to deal with that wont do you wrong. thanks Littlewillie1320@aol.com  James Miller

I have been reading through some of the posts on here about what people think of Frank and figured I would post alittle about my dealings with him.

4 years ago my friend and I wanted to build a Pump Gas 550+ SBC for a S10 truck that would make it run 10's in the 1/4 mile. Frank took LOTS of his own time to get us a perfect combo that has ran strong for FOUR YEARS! Since then I have ordered many parts and a few times I have ordered the wrong part and Frank will reship on his dime with NO restocking fee!

He gets all my business on car performance parts. Out next goal is a low 9 Second Street Legal truck that Frank (GOFastStuff) will build the drive train for!!

I personally had a good experience with the service and quality of product that I received when I dealt with www.gofaststuff.com. The price is also something I have bragged to all of my friends about. Keep up the good work and Keep down the prices like you always have. Nothing but praise goes out to Frank and his crew.  juicedsonoma@lycos.com

Frank is my man when it comes to building an engine, won't steer you wrong, won't waste your money, he has helped me out with several engines in the past and when they were installed the car ran the #'s Frank told me I could expect, customer service is second to none, very prompt shipping, super deals, if you haven't dealt with Frank or gofaststuff before give them a chance and I guarantee you won't be disappointed, Darell Edwards, Edwards AUTO Care, in good old Richmond, Va. !!!!!!!!!   camhead292@aol.com

Had great dealings with Frank and the products he offers. I ordered a 383 Eagle crank and had a miscommunication on the order that was my fault. Frank worked with me on the order and even gave me a better price than I found elsewhere. Fast shipping and the part was exactly what I wanted. Will deal with him again on this 383 project, and on the 64 El Camino motor.  Larry Wheeler lnwheeler@earthlink.net

These folks really know their stuff. I asked a couple of questions about building a street Chevy 350 and received quick honest answers. The 383 kit I purchased is just as described and hundreds less than the big speed shops charge for the same parts. Brand name parts, low, low prices, free shipping, and knowledgeable sales people, what more can you ask for?  Jay Kellogg  jaykellogg@aol.com

Low prices, prompt delivery and took time out to answer my questions to help me decide which way I wanted to go with my engine. I know I'll be back.  Peter Shurboff  az162@yahoo.com

Frank,   I received my piston and delivered to my machine shop , he weighed it to defective piston  and was very happy to inform me that piston only 4 oz. difference.  Thank you very much for your excellent customer service and the way you handled my problem.  Signed very happy and will be a return customer!    Thanks again!   Ray Dela Rosa,    chev_dawg@netzero.net
